Into the Woods...

Saturday, October 23rd, 10 students and 3 faculty gather for a day of nature photography and plein air painting in the woods.  The destination is Long Mountain, Montgomery Bell Academy's property near McMinnville.  It is a picture perfect crisp fall day.  The trees are golden and the light is bright.

We have a winner!

Congratulations to our winners in the last Photo Competition: Elements and Principles!!  Cole Jones, 8th grade, received 1st place for Portfolio 9 and senior Patrick Meehan received second place for Portfolio 5.  Congratulations to all of our entrants for really successful shots.  It is truly a pleasure to see your work.  Visit the post below to see the work of all of our photographers.
